About this object

A glazed porcelain figurine of a peasant with a blue hat, greenish jacket with a pink sash, yellow trousers, white stockings and brown shoes. At right hip is a sack. He has a white cloth over his right shoulder and carries a white pitcher decorated in red and a brown staff. Ground and a tree trunk are mottled green and brown.
