About this object

A porcelain figurine of a Finnish woman in native costume. Her dress is blue with blue edging. She has a pink apron suspended from a gold belt. Around her neck are a series of bead necklaces, one white and three pink, one with gold cross. Her head dress is white with gold flowers and fastened by two strings of blue and pink beads. She holds a white cloth in her left hand. Her stockings are white and shoes are black. Pedestal has second rococo scrolls in gold. Ground is mottled red and brown. At back is a stump in same colors.
