About this object

On front of cup is a rectangular panel. In it is painted a landscape with figures, two peasants drinking at table. A panel in pink lustre has bands of gold leaves. Around base, along handle, and around rim, inside and out, are gold borders. Within the upper curve of the handle is a stylized flower modelled in white. Saucer is painted in matching pink lustre with gold leaves and gilt borders.
