About this object
The ground is turquoise-blue. The edge is slightly scalloped. In the center on a white ground is the monogram LPR in leafy script in two tones of gold, (for Prince Louis de Rohan) surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves and acorns springing from a broken section of a branch; on the rim are three oval panels reserved in white each containing one exotic bird in a landscape. Between the panels are arching leaf scrolls and swags of oak leaves and acorns in gold.
