In the center of the plate is a landscape with a castle painted in monochrome brown, labeled in German script "Ansicht von Iberstein", the rim is decorated in raised white paste on gold with four pairs of putti holding arrows and the ends of swags, above each of which is a head flanked by wings, between each pair of putti is an urn on a pedestal, under the rim is a scattering of gold bees.
