The ground is a pale, dusty blue; in the center of the saucer is a large rosette in gold with anthemions; a band of anthemions decorates the rims of the saucers and the outside of the cups at the lip.

- MARK; INSCRIPTION .1 (cup): 58 in green oval; .2 (saucer) S.49 in green oval, crossed out. .1 and .2 L P crowned cypher and Sevres 1846 in blue within a circle; "Chateau de St. Cloud" mark in red. The second saucer is similarly marked except for the dates .1 CRS--ey incised; .2 jo incised.
