The ground is yellow, the center reserved in white and enhanced by leaf scrolls in gold, contains the crowned cipher LP (for Louis Philippe) in gold sorrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel and flanked by cupids facing front, each holding a rose, the edge of the plate has a wavy vine with ivy leaves in gold against white.
