About this object
The conical bowl is engraved with the double headed eagle with the cipher of Elizabeth I (Elizaveta Petrovna) on a reserved medallion. At each side is a spray of leaves and flowers. The base of the bowl is faceted. The baluster stem comprises a proper knop, inverted baluster knop, and a second proper knop. The first proper knop and the inverted baluster are faceted. The plain foot is engraved with the word 'pridvornoi' in Cyrillic capitals, indicating that was property of the imperial court.
