About this object
Conical bowl is engraved on one side with a monogram surmounted by a coronet, on the other by a medallion with a bird, its head turned, walking in a field. Between these are elaborate tulip like scrolls. Stem is composed of a small bladed knop aboved a proper knop, followed by a second bladed knop and an inverted baluster stem. It is completed by two smaller bladed knops. Both the proper and inverted baluster knops contain decorative air bubbles. A border matching that on the lip is engraved around the foot.
