About this object

The upper 2/3 of this small glass tumbler is uncut. Two gilt lines decorate the rim and the base of the uncut portion. This area is subdivided into three smaller areas by gilded, tooled horizontal bands. Within each are silvered, tooled scrolls sprouting flowers and leaves (in silver) and roses with additional leaves (in tooled gilt). This form is repeated in two additional zones. The lowest 1/3 of the tumbler is cut into fifteen facets that are undercorated.
