About this object
The bowl sits on a ring foot. The sides are straight and it bulges slightly at the bottom. It is plain except for four identical etched medallions, equally spaced around the sides. The medallions have a scalloped edge and above the motto is a rearing lion. The bowl has a low mahogany base with an inscribed brass plaque.
