About this object

An oval basket with two handles made in opaline glass. On the cover is a hen on her nest. The basket has an oval base and the sides extend upwards and out to form the basket. The glass resembles basket weave on the sides and there is a border of crosses at the top. The handles look like ropes and the upper edge is corded.
