About this object
The tall conical bowl of the goblet has a medallion on one side engraved with a bust of the Anna Ioannovna and on the other side a medallion with her cipher and the imperial crown. The portrait is based on an engraving by Anton Shul'ts (Schults). Between are leaf scrolls. The stem is comprised of three small bladed knops above an inverted baluster (faceted) knop followed by two small bladed knops. The somewhat wider than normal flat foot is engraved with a leaf scroll.
