About this object
On one side of the conical bowl is the imperial eagle and on its breast is a medallion with the bust of an archbishop, most likely St. Nicholas or St. Andrew, blessing. On the opposite side, all in gilding, is the cipher of Empress Elizabeth I (Elizaveta Petrovna) with two branches of leaves and flowers. Stem has three proper, faceted knops. Base is plain.
