About this object
Bowl is ribbed is circular fashion with a gilded rim. On front a medallion on white glass with gilt edge has imperial crown and monogram of Alexander I, the date 1814 and an inscription referring to the taking of Paris by Russian troops during the Napoleonic wars. There is triangular gilding around the base of the bowl. Cover has ribbing in a circular fashion and a half-gilded knop.
