About this object

A dish in the Octagonal Eagle and Nectarine pattern. The dish is octagonal in shape with an American eagle in the center. He has a shield on his breast and is grasping arrows and an olive branch in his talons. It is surrounded by thirteen rope scallops and a star in each scallop. There is a border of acanthus leaves alternating with nectarines above stars and a design. It has a scalloped edge.
