About this object
The tazza is round and stands on a slender pedestal foot. This rests on a square base which is on top of a larger square plinth. The bowl of the tazza is flat with a small depression in the center. The pedestal foot has a knob on top and a collar in the center. The square base has a stepped edge, and the steps are repeated at the base of the plinth. This rests on a square block of malachite on the very bottom.
