About this object

The shape of seal is that of a flat urn with a pedestal foot. The top, upper and middle part of the body and part of the foot are ribbed. The very top is cut and sits on top of a ribbed portion. This curves outwards to meet the top of the central section. This curving area is ribbed as well. The center has a ribbed band at the top and a smooth bottom with a series of indentations cut around the bottom end. The pedestal foot is ribbed and meets the round base which is also cut.
