About this object
The shape of the seal is that of an elaborate urn with two handles. The main body of the urn is chanelled and the lower part is carved with acanthus leaves. The cover is also carved with acanthus leaves on the top and chanelling along the sides. The cover extends outwards to meet the central section. This section tapers inwards to meet the acanthus design. The handles are round and are attached to the lower part of the middle section. The round pedestal foot is chanelled.
