About this object

The bowl is cylindrical in shape and carved from a yellow colored stone. The sides are plain and curve inwards at the bottom where it meets the gilt metal foot. The foot is stepped. The lower step has a linear decoration that is concave. The upper step has a convex, rounded decoration that looks like several beads strung together.
