About this object
The rectangular frame is made from dark green jade. The inner border is made in gold with Chinese red enamel. At the four corners is a rectangular stylized ornament made from red enamel, tiny diamonds and a cabochon sapphire. At the top is a similar ornament in an oblong shape. It contains a photograph of Mrs. Post as a young woman. She is sitting on a couch in a long dress with her hair upswept.
