About this object
The monumental rectangular tray with scalloped borders and scroll-shaped handles is decorated with bands of flowers, clusters of grapes, geometric patterns, and rocaille motifs. A large monogram 'EM' topped by the Russian Imperial crown is engraved within in a central cartouche with scrolled border.
