Square tan trunk with brown vulcanized reinforcements around sides and lid with brass studs and hardware. five brass feet at back. coated canvas plain weave with five yellow pinstripes down center vertically, three sets down center. One set of pinstripes painted over with yellow, blue and white diagonal stripes. brass latch on each side. drop front. two metal latches on top and leather handle fastened with metal enforcers; two leather straps that buckle. MPD painted on each side in brown paint. PL side covered by layered indistinguishable shipping stickers. Many shipping stickers some distinguishable some not. Interior front folds down, lid lifts upt; lined with herringbown tan canvas. One upper removable tray reinforced by metal side rails that allow it to slide, tray had three square compartmens in back and one front rectanular compartment. Twill strap missing that may have held in tray. One removable shelf in center. Back of bottom compartment has elastic strap with brass buckle, elastric strap woven with "Pathfinder" with missing pieces where it buckles.
