About this object

Inverted saucer shaped (unfurled) umbrella with grey nylon cover. The cover border has O.N.M . NYLFRANCE woven in the fabric at 6 cm intervals. The lining is printed nylon with stylized grey and taupe flower buds. Brass ferrule, tube, top/bottom springs tip cup and tips. Ten beige enameled ribs and stretchers. A rosette in the same fabric as the lining covers the plastic runner. The crook handle is covered in grey lizard skin. A gold corded wrist strap is hand-sewn just above the tip cup. A grey nylon tie with a steel snap is hand-sewn to the outside of a rib.
