About this object
Flat conical shaped (unfurled) umbrella with navy blue silk cover. Wood veneered tube. Brass ferrule, open cap, top/bottom springs, and tapering straight handle. The open cap and handle both have an embossed filigree design. Eight black enameled ribs, stretchers, and tips. The hand-stitched tie is of the same fabric as the cover with a hand-stitched brass button and brass loop closure. A navy blue silk cord with pom-poms is tied to the handle using a hitch knot.
