About this object
Blue taffeta covered oval box shape with cut out sweet-heart shape in front. The sides are surrounded with sculpted, basketweave horse-hair braid (faded) blue with .125” folded blue nylon raffia ornament. The surrounding motif is slightly gathered and raised up from the shaped front to reveal blue taffeta underneath. The hat is lined in blue taffeta and hand stitched with the name of the makers inside, approximately 5.5” x 1.5”. It includes the monogram: M.M.P. in block letters 2.5”W x 1”H
