About this object
Pair of Bakelite hat pins with descending cylindrical heads decorated with zig-zag motif of silver paint in the top band. The upper, open space is filled with seven (7) crystals in flower motif; the lower section uses three (3) crystals in triad. The silver paint is dotted at each point, with a crystal. An additional crystal is centered on each line between. The second band is decorated with elongated gold diamonds, each point studded with a crystal. Between the lower sections of diamond pattern are three (3) descending crystals and at the bottom of each point is a descending row of six (6) crystals. The head is applied to the steel needle by a drilled hole.
