About this object
Center of the plate features a scene of a young woman in a blue skirt and white blouse and apron with brown trim. She's carrying a staff as she walks through the woods and spots a knight on a white horse. Painted in a turn of the century block-color style. A series of linked hexagons forms the border pattern with evergreen trees in between in various shades of green. Animals and birds are depicted in the hexagons.
