Gold cross pattée with red, outlined black enameled arms with crossed gold swords between arms (hilts down) obverse center has ermine mantle with saint's initials CB. Reverse has date of order's founding 22 September 1782 in Cyrillic. Both are against a black enameled ground. Neck ribbon is silk moiré with three equal stripes, black, red, black.
