About this object
The locket has a rectangular frame set with a suspension loop. On the front, under crystal glass, is an openwork design in gold against red silk. In the center are six intertwined letters. Above them is a crown of flowers, with swags of flowers and ribbons hanging from it. Underneath the letters is a sheaf of wheat tied with a ribbon. This is surrounded by a gold guilloche border with a flower at each corner. At the back is human hair, woven in a checkerboard pattern.
