About this object
The clock is rectangular in shape. The face has Arabic numbers attached to a slightly raised circular band which has then been applied to a silvery checkered ground. The hour hand is made in the form of a scroll and there is an applied scroll ornament below the hours. There is a fixed handle at the top also in the form of a scroll. The sides are covered with the same checkerboard pattern.
