About this object
The round clock sits on a rectangular bronze base. In the front are five motifs set in rectangles and in low relief. They are a deer, a fish, an urn of flowers, a bird and a rosette. In low relief supporting the round clock is a small balustrade made from ivory. At each side is a turned ivory columns topped by a small ivory urn. It rests on four ivory pad feet. The clock face has Roman numerals and floral motifs upon it. At the very tip is a bronze globe.
