About this object

Bowl is melon shaped. Almost all the outer surface of the bowl and handle is covered with filigree enamel on a gilt ground with scrolls and flowers in the 17th century taste. A series of cabochons, red, green, blue, is set about upper edge and the handle. Interior is not gilt.
