About this object

Sanctuary lamp is like a chalice, except that the upper portion is rectangular with four vertical sides. On one side is the Virgin and Child and on each of the other three are two saints. Figures are seen in three quarter length and all are identified by inscriptions. Faces and hands are in flesh colors, robes in red, blue, green and purple and the background in light blue. On knop and part of base is a melon pattern.
