About this object

Outer surface is entirely plique a jour enamel. On lower two thirds of the tumbler are stylized plants under arches and around the upper third is a series of medallions centering stars with formalized flowers, all in translucent red, green, white, blue and pale blue enamel. At top and bottom the edges have designs of rosettes in opaque filigree enamel of red, white, turquoise, green and blue on gilt ground.
