About this object
Each piece in the set is covered with an all over design in filigree enamel in red, green, pale blue, white on a stippled gilt ground all of the finest quality. Ring like foot on each piece has four semicircular openings. Above this is a melon pattern, each section of which has a floral motif or leaf scroll. Next above is a series of half circles in enamel and above, a rinceau in enamel. Upper portions have acroteria like motifs in filigree enamel. Handles have all over filigree enamel on a stippled gilt ground. Domed covers have also all over filigree enamel decoration. Handles and covers of the coffee and tea pots have pieces of mother of pearl. Interiors are gilded.
