About this object
The background is in pink with panels painted in full colors and with rococo frames with gilt scrolls in relief. On the cover, is an Italianate landscape with a river, on the right with shepherds, sheep and a cow, a horseman in the middle ground riding in the direction of a large town in the middle distance and mountains in the far distance. On the four sides are white panels, each with a bouquet of flowers. The bottom is also in pink with gilt raised scrolls and a white panel with flowers. The interior is in white enamel. The ormolu hinge is tooled with wavy lines.
