About this object
The ground is white with raised gilt rococo frames and sprays of flowers and dots scattered. On the cover is a picture in colors after J.M. Nattier, "Les Amants." On each of the four sides is a cartouche with galant scenes. In the front-a youth playing a stringed instrument seated in a landscape, on the right side-a young woman seated in a landscape, on the back-a young woman and a young man in a garden, a marble statue of Venus, and on th eleft side -a young man in a landscape. On the white enamel bottom there is a fleur de lys in each corner. On the interior of the cover is a painting in full colors after Titian's "Danae and the shower of gold".
