About this object

The main part of the round box is made from glass with a continuous engraved floral decoration. The cover is made in ormolu and the edge has a continuous floral decoration. Next there is a band of pink enamel and a band of white enamel, both on a strie background. The raised handle has a border, again with flowers in ormolu. On the top is white enamel on a strie ground. On this is a carved ornamenet in a pink stone.
