His figure is symmetrical and frontal and his hands are crossed over his chest. He wears a robe with a decorative yoke and wide sleeves, and an eight-pointed star frames his head within a round halo. The wide border contains eighteen round medalions with inscriptions in the outer border. At the top is the Deeis flanked by the Archangels Gabriel and Michael, while the other medalions contain (clockwise from top right) St. Paul, St. Gregory the Theologian, St. Nicholas, Great Martyr Dmitrii, St. Savatti, St. Andrew, the Guardian Angel, St. John the Evangelist, St. Zosimus, Great Martyr George, St. John Chrysostum, St. Paul. The medalions are connected by the tendrils of a simple trailing vine ornament. The center and border are worked in brass on a ground of light and dark blue enamel, interspersed with mottled white enamel on the lower border, a dull green surrounding the archangels, and yellow, green and white enamel in the central image. A looped metal stand is attached to the back by a decorative brass plaque. The back is scored with vertical file marks.
