About this object
The frame has a metal edge with diamond shaped etchings. Inside of the frame is an edge of dark green velvet which has four triangular inserts of a pale green jade in the center of the top, bottom and two sides of the inner frame with the point facing out. The inner edge has the same diamond etching on metal. There is a metal loop at the top of the frame. The frame contains a photograph mounted on cardboard of Barbara Hutton, ca. 1950. She wears a double strand of pearls and pearl earrings, and a sleeveless dark lace gown. She looks just to the right of the camera.
