About this object

A statuette of an equestrian on a stepped rectangular base. It is a replica of the statue of Bartolomeo Colleoni, by Andrea Verrocchio. The horse has raised its front left foot as if stepping forward. Colleoni is seated on the horse in military dress. He holds the reins in his left hand against the horse's neck. His right hand is on his hip. The base has floral designs along the sides.
