About this object
Central portion is an urn resting on two marble plinths. Urn has a bowl in amethyst glass and a round base in ormolu and marble. Glass bowl has an ormolu top. From the center of this rises a pyramidal spike in crystal glass topped by an ormolu spike from which three wires spring supporting chains of crystal beads. From either side of the cover of the vase rise brackets in ormolu supporting bobeches for candles. Between these rise a series of wires each supporting a chain of crystal beads.
