About this object
The candelabra has a round foot cut underneath with a sunburst. It has a baluster stem with a clear knop enclosing a miniature basket full of fruit in frosted glass. From the stem extend two curving branches in ormolu, each supporting a single baluster-shaped candle socket with a diamond cut pattern and a circular cut glass drip pan from which hang fifteen red glass prisms. The central finial is in clear cut glass with an oval medallion in carved frosted glass in low relief with a blue line border. This finial has a classical scene on one side and a basket of fruit on the other.
