About this object
Each has a seated child satyr covered with black patina except for a gilt wreath on its head, with arms folded and feet crossed, on a truncated fluted column under which is a rounded band of laurel leaves and berries. At the other end, a pine cone on a rectangular block. The shaped plinth is plain except for a single band of beading.
