About this object
The style is Neo-classic. The base is in rock crystal and is urn-shaped. The core stem is like a notched sword. The overall design has four tiers becoming smaller toward the top. The lowest consists of six angular candle arms ending in big plain scrolls, the second and third tiers are circles with large tear drops. The top tier consists of small metal sprays supporting beads and tear drops. Smaller elements are arched gilt "ropes" and a greek key motif in low relief around the shoulder of the rim.
