About this object
The dressing table mirror rests on an easel back and has two scrolled feet at the bottom of the frame. The frame, in the rococo style, has a sinous outline decorated with scrolled acanthus leaves that continue upward. Swags of roses in high relief entwine the frame and at intervals invade the glass. At the peak top is a lion mask and a medallion containing a monogram topped by a nine-pointed crown.
