About this object
Central portion is a blue glass vase without handles but with a base in ormolu decorated with acanthus leaves. From the mouth of the vase rises a ormolu flower like holder for a four sided spear like piece in glass on top of which is an ormolu section with eight sprays from which hang eight chains of glass beads. Eight more ormolu sprays rise from the mouth of the vase and from them hang eight more chains of glass beads to imitate the effect of a fountain. From either side of the mouth of the vase is an ormolu holder for a candle. Square white marble base is in two sections, steps.
