About this object

On one side is a medallion showing a public square with a column surmounted by the figure of an archangel. On opposite face is a medallion with a sailing vessel anchored in a harbor near a castle. Between these two medallions are scrolls and vines. All is in niello on silver against stippled and gilt ground. Interior if tumbler is gilt.
