Tumbler has a panoramic view of Velikii Ustiug in niello in a band around the center of the cup. Around the top is a small band of flowers and leaves in a niello ground. Around the bottom is a band of what looks like large decorative M's separated by leaf patterns. Non-niello parts of cup gilded.
